In House Program

U7-U10 Age Group - Spring 2024

Our U7-U10 soccer program places players on teams led by parent volunteer coach or coaches.   Teams will have a weeknight practice (practice night will vary by team) and compete against other LaGrange Soccer teams on Saturday mornings -

U7 (players born in 2017) plays at 9am

U8( players born in 2016) plays at 10:15am

U9/10 (players born in 2014 and 2015) plays at either 10:15 or 11:00

When you register in the spring/summer you are registered for both the following Fall and Spring seasons.  Players will be provided with a uniform containing a team jersey, shorts and socks.    Players  will need to bring their own soccer ball - U7-U8  size 3 and U9-10 size 4, water, and wear shin guards and soccer cleats to every practice and game.  Shin guards are mandatory for both practice and games. No exceptions for the safety of your child. Soccer socks need to completely cover your child’s shin guards during practice and games.

Intramural coaches for the U7 age division and older will be contacting players on their team in late August with information about practice times and specific team instructions. The practice time will depend on the coach’s availability.

Game schedules will be posted on the LaGrange Soccer website under U7-U10 program/Schedules.    Practice schedules will be provided by the coach.  All games and practices take place at Stringham Park.  A field map of Stringham Park can be found under Field Info.

Interested in volunteering as a Coach?

Step 1

If you are a new volunteer coach to LaGrange Soccer please register as a coach on our online registration system GotSport (same system you registered your child to play) which can be found at https://system.gotsport.com/programs/925860P20?reg_role=coach While registering please upload a picture of yourself for your coaches badge.

Step 2:

Risk Management through East Hudson/ENYYSA- Risk Management/Background Search is necessary to continue working with youth soccer.  ENYYSA uses the GotSport registration system - same system you registered to coach in Step #1.   Find your profile -  click Profile Icon in the upper right hand portion of the screen.  In the DASHBOARD in your profile.  The three (3) risk management requirements will be listed:

  • Background Check – once every two years
  • Heads Up Concussion Awareness – once every two years
  • Safe Sport – yearly renewal with refresher courses

Over to the right of each it will say MORE INFO and when you click on that, it will take you to that test to be completed.

Complete each step -  the status bar to the right of each step will indicate FULFILLED when completed
